The Union Jack has a standard L-shape but is unique in the fact that it has not one but two gussets. These gussets are positioned to cross in a way that provides the awesome strength you can always expect from a Federal Brace countertop bracket but still give you a distinct style. The crossing of the these supports also creates a sense of depth not seen often in a countertop support.
Spacing and countertop overhang considerations.
Which size should you choose? As a rule, the correct size is one that leaves no more than 4” unsupported countertop from the end of the bracket.
Spacing
Our recommendation is
that the spacing between these brackets does not exceed 30 inches.
